How these are built
Each location is trained on a set drawn from INSIDE it — along its length and back the other way, across the frontages, from a doorway, from a stall, at 0.3 m off the wet ground on a 14 mm lens, and from above looking down into the canyon — plus the same place at night. That is what lets a location hold together from an angle it was never shown, instead of producing the one photograph it was trained on.
